Is New Orleans specifically the Quarter opened yet?

I know this has been asked recently, but it was posted on a thread from May. We also love to go to New Orleans for Halloween. If the Quarter is shut down as far as restaurants and a bit of music we will not make the trip. As much as I love the city during dress up Halloween we can do that at home instead of drive 1100 miles to sit in a condo no matter how much we love the place lol.

Thanks I read the travel guide and everything we do seems to be open in New Orleans.

It depends. There's no inside bar service, only patio/outside. Lots of restaurants have closed or have limited hours. There's still a slower change of pace right now. Bourbon gets busy but they just got 10,000 evacuees that account for that.

I keep getting emails about the Haunted Mortuary Halloween events. I was surprised they are open. I went several years ago and stay in their email list. My May trip was cancelled due to .... well you all know. lafitte’s blacksmith shop bar is one of my fav places to sit outside and people watch .

Your Halloween NOLA trip may be in vain. Over 150,000 in Orleans Parish are now without electricity due to Hurricane Zeta. 77% of the city has no power. They had 80-100 MPH winds in the city when the hurricane hit.
