Hi Slomac,
I wonder what is going on there. I haven’t been able to reach the office by phone and they declined my deposit at RCI. They certainly took my maintenance fees but I have been unable to actually make a reservation or use the week elsewhere. I wish I had some answers for you, but wanted to chime in on the issue of whether our operation is still up and running.

The G building has red fencing around it indicating it is not to be inhabited. However, I do see signs of someone living in at least one of the units (probably an owner). Unless you have other confirmation, I would doubt that units in that building are being rented. See if you switch to one of the not ocean front buildings.

Aloha,
We had 3 weeks of reservations for Feb 2023 in G1. Contact VIP reservations (if you wait until a month or so before check in they will contact you) and discuss with them where they plan to relocate you. We were offered a unit in F building but turned it down due to the lanais being locked off. So, if sitting on a lanai or having the fresh air from an open door is important to you, then you won't get an ocean front unit. We will be be in a second floor D unit.

Aloha,
The KBV front desk called us today to let us know that the lanai's were now usable in the F building. Since we own OF, they switched us to F16 from the D building. Due to medical appointment scheduling issues, we'll arrive a few days late (next Wed eve) for out three (actually 2-1/2) week stay.
