Is it too early to borrow StarOptions from 2022 for a 2021 reservation?

I was short few SOs for a trip for this year so I prepaid the 2021 MF and called to make the reservation. Now I realized, I may also be short few points for a trip we are planning for January 2021. Can I prepay 2022 as well and borrow 2022 points now to make a reservation for January 2021? Withing the 8 months window of course.

I got the answer from Vistana. I can prepay 2022 and make a reservation for 2021 using borrowed 2022 StarOptions. All other rules still apply including the 8 months window
