Hi, all. I just added a two-bedroom at SVR (the original Sheraton Vistana Resort) to my II account. It is a dedicated two-bedroom (meaning, not a lock-off) and is in the Cascades phase. II correctly shows that it's a two-bedroom, but says the maximum capacity is six. I thought all two-bedrooms in the Cascades phase slept eight.

Is this a mistake, or are there some Cascades two-bedrooms that sleep only six? If it is a mistake, is it likely to affect my trade power much? I am wondering if this is worth hassling about, especially since I don't expect to deposit this unit into II on a regular basis.

If it helps any, the unit is listed as 2BEDSD in resort code VI2. Anyone else have this exact same ownership, and if so, what is the maximum capacity listed for your unit?

The private sleeping capacity would be 6 even if there are two queen beds in the second bedroom. In that case it would be a sleep 6 private, sleep 8 max. Maybe there are some units in that phase that only have one bed in the second bedroom ? It could also be that II is listing it based on private sleeping capacity not maximum.

The trade power is based on private sleeping capacity, not maximum so you have nothing to worry about as far as trade power.

I stayed in the cascades a few years ago. 2 bedroom with 1 king and 2 queens. There was a full size pullout couch. Maybe that's where you get the 8?

Oh, good point! Maybe the listing under "My Units" is showing private sleeping capacity, not maximum sleeping capacity. (Of course, if that is the case, you think the II rep I spoke to could have just told me that.)

So, what I really have here is a general question about the II "My Units" page -- does it show maximum capacity, or does it show private sleeping capacity? Perhaps I should rephrase this as a general question, not specific to this resort, and post on the Exchanging board.

If a moderator wants to lock or delete this thread, that is fine with me.
