Is it worth it to upgrade to Platinum? I am a Gold member. Not sure the benefits are worth it. What are others experiences?

Right now, as a platinum member, I receive a discount on size upgrade charges. I don't see that as a listed benefit now. Did they do away with this?
This has been the biggest money saver for me in II.

This is part of their fee chart and isn't a discount per say.

Thanks. I am assuming that these prices will remain the same.
The $59 vs $99 is the reason I joined platinum. I have a studio with low MF that will allow me to upgrade to a 2BR for $118 and still stay below $800 for 7 nights.

I have Interval platinum, and I also pay $59 per upgrade step.
Studio to 1 bdm = $59.
Studio to 2 bdm = $118.

And that is what the chart in post #5 appears to list as well:

I received this email as well. I am actually surprised by the offer because with the consolidation, for many of us who have both Vistana and Marriott Corporate II acounts, I would assume the Vistana corporate II account will go away altogether, at least for those who have enrolled/qualified weeks.

It will be interesting to know if they plan to place enrolled VSN weeks into the MVC Corp account or keep it separate. It would be a bummer to sign up for this offer only to find out pretty soon that it is no longer in an active account.

In the past, this special 50% off pricing would work for my corporate Vistana account, but not for my personal account. Has anyone tried to use this special for their personal Vistana account? Even if it worked for me, I am not sure it is worth it if I am not planning to use any of the guest certificates. I do upgrade to two bedrooms, though, which would save me $40 a year since I only have two units (SDO lockoff) every other year to deposit. I used the getaway discounts once, and that saved a decent amount.
