Just been contacted by II to rent my unused weeks. Call came from ADR Travel, basically they wanted my getaway weeks for a fee so that they can rent them out, I would be receiving the rental fee less their fee.

Has anyone utilized this feature and is it legit?

Welcome to TUG.

You weren't contacted by II; II will ban you for renting getaway and/or exchange weeks. I don't know the company, but this is consistent with a scam...and don't pay anyone up front!

It's a scam - cut them off, block their calls and emails. Continuing to communicate they will identify you as an easy mark and result in lots more scam calls/emails.

Welcome to TUG.
We get this question almost once a week. It is definitely a scam. Typically the "company" uses a name that "sounds like" Interval, RCI, or other well known timeshare brand.

They tell you that you have 6, 8, 12, "unused getaway weeks". This is not a thing. They prey on people who are confused about what they own.
No one has "unused getaway weeks". Getaways is a term that Interval uses for weeks that they rent out for cash.

The ploy is, they tell you that they can "rent out these unused weeks of yours" for a very good price. But first they need an upfront fee for some made-up reason. Once you pay them the upfront fee, voila, they vanish.
Reality check: If you hired a rental agent to rent out your rental property, would you pay that person up front? No, that person would be paid from the proceeds of the rental.

Now that we have that established, where do you own? Do you need help exchanging? Have you deposited your week to II?
