Hello,
Thought I should share. I tried to login into II Community and got an error message.
Because I wanted to do some timeshare related reading, I called to see if they could help me. It seems they are experiencing an outage and are working on fixing it. Hope they get it back up soon.
In the meantime, I'll do some timeshare reading over here...

Personally I've found the II Community to be fairly clueless about many of the things discussed here on TUG. Stay here and learn, and feel free to ask questions!

II Community is back up

Looks like the issue has been solved and the forum is back up.

there is a lot of censorship over there. I tried to explain that some weeks were hard to exchange for (like summer beach weeks) because the owners sometimes preferred to rent for cash rather than deposit their weeks for exchange...and that got deleted...

do some searches over here (and if the member fee doesn't break you, the sightings board is very useful) and you'll learn a lot more than you would over there.

Any time you use the words sale, sales, rent and rental it goes through review and often gets modified. I think they are afraid you are trying to circumvent the exchange process and using the forums to rent or sell. They just don't have the dedicated volunteers that TUG has. TUG has rules and censors but don't rely on word recognition programs.
