Long story short, we had to cancel a week at the Manhattan Club. They are offering a replacement week through RCI. It will cost $49.00 for us to join since we are II members. I know some Marriotts are both II and RCI. My question is : has anyone ever traded into a great RCI resort? Thanks

Hilton Grand Vacations are close to MVC timeshares. DVC is great if you are doing disneyworld. As an owner of DVC, I have to say they are a step down in quality of furnishings and size compared to MVC and HGVC.

Yes, IMO they are equivalent if you remove the options that aren't available to the general membership of each like MVC for II. There are many great RCI resorts including DVC, highest rated Bluegreen and many others. Just do your research. One thing to note is that RCI tends to require a longer planning time than II, 2 years is best there. But for areas with more availability like Orlando, Branson, LV or Williamsburg it's fairly easy with planning.
