edited to say…. After 45 minutes on the phone with the rep I had to hang up. Called back later only to be told in the first 30 seconds by an obviously more experienced rep that 30% off the exchange fee is only valid for instant exchanges completed between Sept. 23, 2024, and Sept. 29, 2024 for travel completed by Jan. 31, 2025.

My travel was for the summer!

Ok, but even for instant exhcnage before Jan.31, 2025, I don't see 30% off.

I see the offer in both our Marriott and Vistana corp accounts. I see the option to select the 30% off on the Payment Summary screen when doing a non Marriott/Vistana exchange.

I even see it for those Marriott to Marriott/Vistana $0 exchanges. No savings there.

Do DVC members even pay an exchange fee when they exchange out? I thought that was paid for by inbound DVC guests as the $190 fee?

again never deposited but - last time i checked there was $95 to convert DVC Vaction points to DVC reservation points - not sure if II falls into that category.

I dont see anything in the official rules and regs...

I tried to reserve and did not get the discount even though my travel date is starting October 5, 2024. Is there a promo code I can use? I thought I saw one before.

It isn't a promo code. You see the option at the top of the Payment Summary screen at the end of the booking flow. You select it with a radio button. Do you have the advert on the main page when you login to the II website?

The offer is now over but I just wanted you all to know my experience.

I could not make it work on the web site as so I decided not to book. On Saturday I did a retrade and it wouldn’t complete so I tried to do the retrade on the app…which I almost never use…and the discount was offered.

Mark might be able to get the discount for people who tried during the offering but didn’t get it to work.
