I inherited EEE points with a transfer. It seems I can see the points on HRC's side (including when they expire) but there is no indication I have those points on Interval's side. I thought I would see the points under "My Units" but I am only seeing my two properties. Is this correct?

What is the next step in making a reservation in Interval? Do I just pick the "Exchange" menu item, search for a location, and then select the contract where the points came from?

If yes, what if I had two HRC properties and had transferred points for both over to Interval. If I needed to combine points from two different contracts to make a reservation is this allowed? If yes, would I just pick one of the contracts and the system would be able to combine those points?

The easiest way to make an EE reservation and get your questions answered is to just call Hyatt owner services and they will make the reservation for you. Maybe search on II first for availability of what your looking for. Then call Hyatt II section of Owners services toll free number. Especially about your points combine question etc.

And No your EE points do not show up on the II website. But Hyatt owner services knows what you points are when you call them. As you see they do show on your account summary on the Hyatt Residence Club member account web site.

What matters is what you see on the Hyatt side. Once you make a reservation on the II side, the points are transferred from Hyatt to II. I think you can make a reservation on the II side you don't have enough points for - and it obviously won't be confirmed.

Hyatt transfers points according to the buckets they are in. EE points are used first, then I think CUP points can be used. RCUP points may be able to be used depending on their age (and there could be new variations with CV19). I don't think LCUP points can be used.

The order can be important. For example, i had points I wanted to use that were CUP and close to going to LCUP (and past the EE deadline). Hyatt confirmed to me that I had to use my EEE points first before I could use those CUP points for an II reservation.

And the oldest EE points will get spent first.

Hopefully this make sense. Hyatt holds onto points until they are actually used.
