Interisland flights at the last minute

I'm wondering about fares for flights from Maui to Honolulu at the last minute. Does anyone know what Hawaiian (and others) would charge?

I've got an exchange to Maui later this month. I might bring my parents with me, but they would be on a stand-by pass. If we have trouble getting out of OGG my plan would be to fly to HNL where there are more options. I've got a stand-by pass on Hawaiian for me, but my parents would need to purchase tickets. Anyone know what they would likely charge for a walk-up fare?

edited to add that I did check the availablity for today and fares range from $64 to $129, most are $64-84. That's reasonable!

When I was there this August they were $169 round trip

It depends how full the flight is. If you are traveling on a Friday afternoon, or any holiday, forget a reasonable deal and be ready to pay top price. I hate to say this, but GO is only running 70% full during the summer and they might have a better deal for last minute fares. Call Island Air and the Superferry. Things change pretty fast, and whatever happened today, might be different tomorrow.

Thanks for the info! I think we'll cross our fingers and hope we can get on a flight from OGG back to the west coast. If not, we'll take our chances on a reasonable fare. It sounds like there are a couple of options.

I expected that things might change dramatically at the last minute, that's why I was wondering if others had purchased tickets on the day of travel from OGG to HNL.
