I've now realize that we take a lot of stuff back & forth on our winter vacations that we would not need for the rest of the year. We have one bag with snowmobile gear and at least one bag of other stuff that doesen't have to go home. Is it possible that it may be better to mail that stuff to our next location?

Trouble is we're not due to check in untill November 27th :)

With the airlines charging so much it would be nice if there was a service that could hold & then deliver at the appointed time.

Hmmmm.....maybe if you're stateside, not international....but the weight might lead to a prohibitive price.

The Post Office will hold packages for pickup, but I don't know if your time frame is too long for that.

We live off the Appalachian Trail, and hikers often send packages ahead to an upcoming destination. We frequently see them coming in to the post office to get a package that'll be marked with their name and, rather than an address, something along the lines of "hold for trail hiker"

Maybe you can ask the resort where you'll be staying if they hold packages for arriving guests?

I think that might work for short term but not for 10 months! You could probably arrange to ship to a resort a week or so before check in.
