I saw an incredible deal on tv last night for Atlantis at Nassau. Something like $194.00/ night per person including FOOD! Ok, what kind of rooms would this be for? Season? They posted a website, can't remember it, like atlantis.com or something. I'm gonna see whats up with that. Can anyone comment?

Fall is off-season and hurricane season, travel is way down because of the economy, and airfare is high. Frankly, I don't think $194 per person is a great deal, but it will be for the hotel, not the timeshare.

I've seen a few commercials that Sandals is giving you airfare or 35% off.

BWV Dreamin, have you been watching the Weather channel lately? I'm all over it worrying about my VB points with all these storms.

I certainly don't care how much they are charging, it's Hurricane season. I've had friends who spent there honeymoons in shelters or people scurrying to get on the last plane out. You were mad at AT on your last trip.

This is really a good deal as food costs can be well over $100 per day per person at Atlantis. Be careful about taxes, resort fees, transfers, etc as they can really jump your final price up.

Make sure it is based on 2 people per room (not 4)

Oh, no way I'm gonna entertain the ad.....not my season for the carribean! Yes, I am very worried about my VB points. If this IKE hits VB area, I feel it will do much damage, not water damage from the last storm. The last big hit at VB Disney absorbed alot of the cost. I don't know what they'd do for a second disaster!!

Those special rates never include the hotel add on's which can be around 18-20% plus even if it includes food it won't include the automatic 15% gratuity added to all food.
Also food choices could be severely limited and Trip Advisor says almost all restaurants are closed for anywhere from 2 weeks to months this fall--so you may not have many choices if you are going this fall.
