Imperial palms booking?

I'm new(ish) to Marriott, so I hoped somebody here can help me. I tried Marriott customer service, but they weren't much help.

I am executive level and have a 13 month booking window at Marriott properties. I can see available dates to book at several marriott properties.

However, I want to book Imperial palms 3 bedroom for October 10th for 7 days. While I can see where my booking window is open, the resort shows NO availability to check in from August 31st, through all of september and October up to my desired dates. with the available dates prior to august, I find it hard to believe they are booked solid from August through October. Has anybody else seen this or have any insight as to what I need to know to continue to plan my vacation?

just looking for advice and input.

I'm going to guess that because IP is an older resort without a whole lot of inventory in the trust, so there isn't a ton to book via Abound. I think you'll have better luck at 12 months.

thank you for the input. I hope so.. I'll keep trying, I just wanted some advice form those who know more about it than me.

I would call Owner Services and discuss.
There can sometimes be online glitches, and they can circumvent any problem to make sure there's really no availability.
And perhaps you WILL be able to book it, but that's what they do, and they're always your true source.
That's because they can see more than you can, and can explain your best course of action.

I agree with calling but I suspect it's actually not available. They only release some inventory at 13 months and sometimes a given resort releases off schedule, maybe later. So keep checking. If not, I strongly suspect it'll be available on the release day at 12 months out.

Thank you, I'll wait. I just like to plan as far out as possible. Second time using abound, so I am still learning... judging by earlier availability, it doesn't appear to get booked up, I just like to have things done. lol. I appreciate the response.

Imperial Palms is one of the resorts where there is good availability via II as there is a lot of weeks ownership, so if you have that as an option, check whether Abound or II is a more effective use of your ownership.

I think it is an inventory release issue, likely due to it being all 3 bedrooms. I've noticed that 3BR inventory often isn't released at 13 months. I checked availability for Sabal Palms and Imperial Palms. Imperial Palms shows availability for every day in August, so I highly doubt that the villas are all booked in September or October which are typically slow months. Sabal Palms shows availability for every day in Aug and Sep and through Oct 12. Inventory will likely open up at 12 months, but I would check every few days because it sometimes is released earlier. Definitely check the Wed afternoon prior to the Thursday 12 month official release time.

Wouldn't the 12 month release day be on Friday 11 Oct not Thursday for points bookings?
