Earlier tonight I confirmed (through II) a 1-bedroom unit at Imperial Fiesta Club at Casa Maya for check-in Sat, January 31, 2009, for my brother-in-law and his wife and two adult children (18 and 21).

I have not reserved through II before and after I confimed the week I went back in to buy a Guest Certificate. It appeared to go through, but there is no way to print it out. Will they just send it to the address of the BIL?

I haven't been to Cancun for many, many years. What would be their best bet for transportation from the airport--I warned them about the TS sharks at the airport.

Also, I mentioned Xel-Ha (the daughter is very environmentally conscious) as one tour they might like. The mother and daughter are both certified divers. Is threre any one place near there that would be convenient to get equipment, etc.

Thanks so much!

I have stayed at the resort twice - very lovely resort - nice staff - I took a cab to the resort - no hassle - It is very easy to get anywhere from the resort - it is on a major bus line.

I own there and have stayed twice and going again in Feb. We use entertainment-plus.net for pvt transfer service 1-3 people is $55. They can also contact the resort and set up transportation through them at a reasonable price. The resort is about 20-30 mins from the airport halfway across the top of the 7. Have them tell the driver to go the fast way through town and not through the tourist corridor. The resort has a great staff and the beach is calm with plenty of sand. Check in is a little slow since you have to wait for a rep to take you to your room. They will try and set up a presentation breakfast. Tell them to pass on it or to set up for the last possible day and cancel at the last moment. If you have any specific questions let me know.
