I'd bank it and put in an ongoing request for 2013 right now - the earlier you put your request in, the more likely you are to get the exchange.

If you are going to bank it with II, why not use the larger side and bank the smaller?

Onehana,
I'm Stumped, not sure what to do..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mods please feel free to move:

I have 2BD L/O at SVR , and made reservation to use the Sm side of the unit in May 2012.
My DH is going to San Antonio in Oct 2012 for a Military Reunion staying at a hotel.
I am stumped as to what to do with the Lg side of my unit .
But DH says just bank it with II and use it later on in 2013.

What would you do. any suggestions??.

TIA

I don't understand what you mean by "I'm stumped."

Here are you options:

Use the week yourself.
Rent it (Only March has any demand for rentals)
Deposit it with II, RCI, or an independent exchange company

Or option 4: let it expire unused?

Yes - but what are you unsure about?

Did you buy this week to use as a trader? That's where it has the most value - it's not a strong renter.
