Hi ... is anyone having trouble on II's site trying to book and exchange? I was on the phone with them and got disconnected, and can't seem to even reach them by phone.

I was trying to do an instant exchange and it would never go thru this morning, finally had to call (and wait about 10 min) for them to book week. Of course I had to pay more also.

II-use Internet Explorer

I had problems with II this morning when using Firefox. I wanted to give a gift certificate and as soon as I started to fill out the form for the gift it would jump back one page.

Call II and agent said she had gotten another call on the same problem.

When I used Internet Explorer no Problem.

I saved $20 and it only took 40 minutes. :hysterical:

II inventory problems

hi in all our years of going to cancun at the royal resorts i have never had a problem with exchanging and checking avail. online until this year. when i speak to II they deny that there is an issue, i believe they are not disclosing their full inventory or the royals are giving their inventory to some other place, perhaps in their interval exchange system. no one can give me a straight answer but i know something is up. anyone else have this problem? no matter what time day or night what day of the week there are these other resorts that are unfamiliar but never royal resorts. i probably will discontinue my memebership due to this issue. just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone else has had this problem.

II's website sucks and they don't care. I did a search to see what was available in the next 59 days and the next page that comes up is the one with the geographic areas with availability. I click on Maui, (which means that since it appears on the page, something is available) and I get the "we're sorry, there is noting available" message.

Why does it come up if nothing is available????

Talked to II about this last year, and go a run around.

They know they have a monopoly and don't give a damm (unlike AT&Ts monopoly, which was actually a good one).

Oh well.....

The website is unbelievably irritating at the best of times. You have to try so many "tricks" to make the thing work or to see what may or may not be actually avaliable. The call centre is also next to useless.

I have to renew my II membership in the next few days. Is it really worth bothering to do considering the substantial problems with their website and what appears to be a considerable reduction in avaliable exchange and getaway inventory?

Sometimes I have noticed that there actually is availability, but not for the occupancy that I have selected. When I change my occupancy, then that area comes up.

When I was trying to book online, I had talked to an II rep right before, I could see what I wanted online and so could she. When I cleared up the check in days question that I had, she asked if she could book for me and I said no I can do it online. So then when I tried, got the message that this was not available. Called right back and spoke to someone who verified that it was there, she said something about that she could "release" it but that someone might grab before I could? Of course when I asked if it would be more to book thru her she said yes. I wanted the week so I went ahead and paid the difference. Has anyone made a case for a refund for not being able to book it online? :ponder:

When I tried to view availabilities this morning, they did not have my units as deposited correctly or at all; I gave up and I'll try now.

That doesn't work; i don't get an error page or blank page, I get a message that says "At the moment there are no matches for the destinations and dates you selected."

Like I said, II doesn't care, but they're the only game in town.

Denise,

I agree, but I am sure I have noticed a couple of times doing an online search where only one or two resorts showed up and I knew that there should have been more. Upon refreshing, sure enough, a larger list appeared. I have no faith in any II list of available resorts.

When I was searching last night, II was slow and funky. Glad to know it wasn't just my elderly computer (bless her heart.)

Laura, when I was able to get through, I saw plenty of Royals availability between fall 2012 and mid-summer 2013. Maybe you weren't searching far enough out? This year, we even got a beautiful, beachfront, 2 br. Royal Caribbean unit on a AC.
