I have an II account that lists my home resort as a studio unit instead of the 1 bedroom unit it actually is. The resort is Imperial Fiesta Club at Casa Maya. I rarely trade the unit but just requested a unit to be put into my account as time is now of the essence and I needed to do something with it. I usually use II for the Accomodation Certificates and have only deposited one week with them in the two years that I have had the II account. I can navigate RCI with ease but am still learning the Interval International game. Does it really matter what size unit is the underlying unit that is listed in my membership ownership account? When I call the home resort to ask that a unit be banked is there anything special I should request? Guess I need to learn a new game!

You may have to call. One bedroom generally has better trading power than a studio so you want this corrected

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
It matters what actually is deposited. It doesn't matter, in terms of trading power, what is listed as what you own. Studios don't have as much trading power as a 1 br plus if you exchange into a larger unit there is a step charge per size in order to do so (outside of flexchange).

Hello, I’m wondering, can I exchange my 1BR for 2 separate studios/separate weeks?

No. Unless you have a 1 BR that can be locked off into 2 studios or you are using II points system. Otherwise, it's one week per unit.
