I used Short Stay a few times when it came out. Then stopped (really not sure why).

I am planning a trip to Orlando in December that I know will only be 6 nights and a unit is available when I search for short stay. If I do it, then I realize I can get another short stay in the future (think only for flex and can't put in a request).

This seems like a no brainer.....if I end up catching another short stay (which I know I will have a 4 night in Orlando need in April) then great. If not...then I really didn't lose anything.

Is this correct...am I missing anything?

The only things you may be missing are you do not have the 24 hour cancel with short stays and can't add eplus or retrade or cancel for a replacement week. So if you know that when you book, it is a use it or lose it immediately and you know that won't be a problem then go for it.

You also lose the ability to do a chose 2 but it doesn't sound like that would work for you anyway.
