II ongoing request not to start until Sept 29?

I placed an ongoing request last week for a couple resorts with a date range of April-July 2009.

I went online to check my request and changed my requirements for a kitchen to "no." When doing that, it gave me a message that my request was determined to run Sept 28, 2008 through July 2009. :confused: Is it not even searching for me yet? Or is that my place in line?
 
Sounds more to me that they are saying they are looking for an exchange for you between these two dates. I would call immediately for clarification, or you may end up with an exchange you do not want.
 
Call them. I had the same kind of thing happen and it was driving me crazy. They fixed it while I was on the phone.

I read this and told my DH to double check on our Maui request for the first 3 weeks of June. It was okay, but a single June week at a different resort showed up as a request option. He deleted it. We will keep checking to make sure no other changes pop up.
 
Well, I talked to II and they didn't understand why it said that, but assured me it WAS searching for me right now.

But on a similarly alarming note, the rep mentioned that I only wanted Friday check ins for my search and I said no! I'll take anything! So he updated my search so maybe I'll find better stuff. I can't figure out how the online request did that, didn't see the option to pick the check in days. So beware of your own ongoing searches!

Be sure to check the ones II puts in also. They booked us for a vacation in the wrong year. Luckily I caught the exchange as soon as it happened, but I should have checked online when I first made the request. That is a mistake I won't make twice.
