Hi,
I had a late deposit in early 2010 (Sheraton Vistana Resort
VIO) 2 bed. I know I can only exchange up to 59 days out, and that is fine. I am looking at the first week of Dec 2,3,or 4th and I am curious if what I am seeing for availability (Aruba or FL) online is all that is available or will this change from day to day. My concern is that what I see for availability for exchange is all that there will be. I have already noticed a few places gone after one day. If that is the case then I need to book something now before it even slimmer pickings than there already is.
Thanks in advance for any comments! "Fins up"

I moved your post to the Starwood forum because it's a Starwood Resort, but we have a member's only forum for "Sightings Requests," because it is a perk of membership. If you are a member, you can post your "Sighting Request" there. If you aren't a TUG member please consider joining - it's only $15.

However, since Aug. 2009, Starwood no longer has "late deposits." Unless you own a true fixed week - is that what you deposited?

No, not if you deposit to II - you can go right up until the end of the year.

Late deposits are useful for flex exchange which is vacations 60 days or less in the future. The inventory is dynamic. It is replenished daily. I suggest you search very early in the morning. (before 5). We have gotten some wonderful gems that way.

If you own a Starwood true fixed week, and deposit it within 60 days of check-in, that would be a late deposit.

With a floating week, you have until the last day of the year to deposit - as long as you cancel any reservations before the check-in date.

See the II FAQ at the top of the forum for more info. about trading with II.
