Yes, it was extended. But at least currently, availability within those additional months is very limited.

I have one in my regular account, my old account starting in 01 (owner of 40 years), but my newer Marriott account has so many. I only deposit a couple of weeks into that account, so I don't know why.

Very limited.
Almost like whats the point but prior to the extension alot more options opened up within 90 days of travel so it may be more beneficial as a last minute AC.

Mine was extended but after May the only places within the US are Vegas and Orlando. Most outside US are all inclusive. Not sure if I will be able to use it.

Just wait and check periodically more options open up within 90 days

Right now showing a check in for 4/17-4/24 at Coconut Palm Beach Resort II for a 1 bedroom 336.00. This is a great little oceanfront resort south of Daytona in New Smyrna Beach. I’m already staying somewhere or I would jump on it.

Cindy you just have to hit them at the exact right time lol. Last year I got a 2 bedroom at Sheraton in Steamboat Springs in August and 2 bedroom Casa Dorado and a 2 bedroom at Cabo Villas Beach Resort. I think each were between 259.00 and 339.00. If I see it on the exchange side I quick look at the AC to see if they are on that side also. I also like AC because like exchanges you can cancel for 24 hours unlike Getaways where you are locked in when you book it.
It was an especially good year in 2020 for inventory probably because of Covid.

Last year was a whole different ball game. We used 7 of these ACs last year. Before COVID, most every Marriott was blocked from ACs. Sometimes you could see Orlando or smaller units such as studios at Marriott resorts. But last year, everything was wide open. We used them in 2BR units at Ocean Pointe and Oceana Palms. We aren't seeing the same in 2021.

Mine was extended too. Just looked and they have a bunch of Marriot St Kits for $299... If I was looking for somewhere right now I'd be tempted....definitely not worthless but I usually have too many weeks banked to make use of them,

How far in advance do they give for AC’s? I am looking for early December and can book a getaway now at SVR. Currently the Getaway price for SVV for that week is a whopping 747! SVR is only 407. I would rather use an AC at 336 for SVV for two rooms. Do you think they would start giving out AC’s with December expiration by June?

I’ve only been to SVR once for two nights years ago and I read multiple reviews of people being checked into occupied room, which is exactly what happened to me the one time I went. I’m not familiar with SVR layout, but I hear the fountains are nice and quiet.

I always thought they were pretty worthless too, until I managed to exchange an AC for a studio at Marriott Ko'olina Beach Club last month (March 2021). I'm sure it was a fluke because of Covid, but it was much appreciated nevertheless.

Well done and a not so thank you to Covid. In 2020 I was able to use 2 AC's for MKO, 2 for MSU, and 6 for MAO. Also used one in Jan. 2021 for MGC. Hope this opportunity never comes again.

I pieced together 9 for 9 weeks in Orlando summer of 2020 at Marriott grand vista. I will miss low volume resorts. I too hope no virus hits again, but I will long for quiet resorts.....Especially in Orlando!
