II Getaways and Exchange Platinum benefits

I've noticed the same resort week will appear under the getaways section and also the exchange section. Has anyone seen a pattern on which units would appear in both?

I'm thinking of signing up for the platinum service if the service will let me see units earlier in both the getaways AND the exchange section.

I haven't noticed a pattern, but when an exchange is only 59 days or less into the future(ie flex time), it often can be seen in the getaways inventory.

I have had the platinum membership since March. The true value seems to be in the discounted price for getaways and free guest certificates. I have not encountered any "earlier" preference in exchanges, and the priority viewing getaways haven't been anything worthwhile.
