II Getaway Swap-A-Roo

This is going to be a saga...I can feel it. :/ I have a getaway scheduled 6/19-6/26 to Village of Loon Mountain. Closed until 6/26, as I posted yesterday. Just called Interval to swap the getaway, as their policy says I can do. "We have to verify the resort will be closed." Okay. But the resort isn't answering the phone today, for some reason. So still in limbo. Hoping to swap for Vacationland Estates in way northern Maine. I've not been north of Orono on I95, so that will be a new foray for us. Will post how it all comes out.

DID IT! So strange, but I'll take it. I ended up trying to call the 1-800 number for Village of Loon, thinking that maybe it was a corporate number, and they'd be someone Interval could call. The lady there tried to call the resort, and then said, "I can help you get this done." She did. They must have access to II's systems or something. Anyhow, she cancelled my old getaway, charged me the difference, and sent me a new confirmation. All looks fine. YAY!

excellent! Glad you found a place to head to! Maybe in the end it worked out since you will be at Pollard the following week anyway. Two different sets of 4 walls to look and areas to explore
