Has anyone else noticed that a few days before a sale, they up the price on their getaways? Then when the sale hits, the prices are the same as they originally were. In some cases there may still be a discount. Like they increase the price $75 then offer $100 off getaways. You save $25 from the advertised $100 discount. Price go down again after the sale is over. This has been going on for a long time. I noticed the same thing with Platinum Escapes earlier this month.

This should be reported to the FTC.

I bought a few WLR weeks during the sale six weeks ago, $189, after the sale it was normal price. Probably depends on the week/place

I haven’t officially tracked the numbers but my belief is you are correct. I have noticed the trend that their sales are not always what they say they are.
