II Eplus Marriott Ko Olina comment

I thought this was interesting

My travel range is Nov 5 to 22
Did an exchange for Marriott Canyon Villas Studio (gold week) for a Nov 14 Ko Olina Studio (ultimate goal is 2 bedroom but figuring that would be in flex and way closer to check-in) got eplus (love eplus option) switched it to nov 8 check in studio (suited the flight in better) last week. Then saw a 2 bedroom Ko Olina (TBOV) come up this morning (way out of flex and much earlier than I thought i'd be able to snag the 2 bedroom). very happy. it must be very unpopular check-in date with marriott owners - yay.

now i just have to get the other week at ko olina using my worldmark so that's going to be much harder to get a. a studio b. something bigger than a studio.

have my requests in with sfx and ii ongoing search for nov 8 check-in @ ko olina - using non marriotts

since united totally butchered our original flights on the 21st and we had to rebook to nov 22 on different airline this is great

I'm going to have to start watching for MKO. Those dates are getting pretty close to the dates we'll be looking for!

Well this morning showed me you just never know what might show up ahead of schedule. Now i'm just hoping i can secure the other week with my worldmark relatively soonish. good luck although i think the two weeks i'm going after are relatively low demand.

Well, this morning the studio (IVGT) showed up for nov 8 to 15 @ ko olina using my worldmark so i instantly caved and took it (had to use 8000 credits) if it had come up after sept 8 could of used 4000 credits (a difference of about $300 value)

i've taken eplus so there's hope (closer to) for a bigger unit.

That is great news. Fingers crossed you can pick up larger unit later, but must be nice to know you are covered.

Yes, there's something to be said for at least knowing you have the dates for accommodation you need - and matches up with flights - no wasted nights or extra filler nights needed. plus if we do end up with studio first week at least i know we'll be moving to a full kitchen and laundry for the second. :whoopie:


i think i was able to grab a 2 bedroom with my worldmark two weeks out last time but that was february 2014 so we'll see how it goes this time - there's hope at least

I see lots of October availability right now. I think you and I will probably both find what we're looking for in a month or two.

there was even a july 23 studio week this morning - as well as the octobers.
