II - Can’t select the correct number of people in the unit, does it matter?

I’m about to pull the trigger on my first II trade. I’m trading the studio half of my MGC to a 2 bedroom unit and paying the upgrade fee.. It’s going to be four of us, my wife, and my two daughters. When I select number of people, it won’t let me select more than 2 because I’m trading a studio, even though I’m booking a 2 bedroom. Does this matter? Will the resort give me a hard time when checking in? We’re trying to trade into Marriott’s Village D’Ille De France if it matters. Thanks in Advance!

It seems to be there to prevent people from requesting/searching a unit larger than the one they are giving up. It seems outdated now with upgrade fees that were instituted years ago. If you can see a larger unit, you can exchange into it and the resort will allow the number of people into the unit up to its occupancy.

We had a great time at MVF this September. And if you are a parks fan you will love Disneyland Paris. Studios is a giant construction zone right now - but still worth a trip even if to just eat at Remy's IMHO.

Yeah, we go to WDW 5-6 times per year, so looking to branch out next year. Hopefully it’s not too mobbed, we’ll be going the week after Easter. Plan on spending half the trip exploring France, and the other half at Disney (with a 9 and 6 year old). Now to just find flights from New York for 4 people for less than $3,600…
