I don't think I have ever seen this before. We used an AC today in II to book a week at SVV next month. Usually we receive the confirmation certificate right away but this time it still shows "Pending Confirmation" in the history page. I have seen this before when we used a brand new deposit to make an exchange as they needed to confirm our deposit before they could confirm the exchange, but I thought everything you saw in instant inventory was already confirmed inventory? Is that not the case?

I made an instant exchange in II a couple of week ago using Hyatt points, and it showed Pending Confirmation. Received the actual confirmation next day.

I can see it happening with instant exchanges, especially point based since they need to go back and confirm you have enough points to cover the exchange. I just found it odd to have an exchange showing as Pending Confirmation on an AC that they gave me.

Ha Ha Ha - I think you have seen thtis before. I remembered a thread about this before and went looking for it. Check out who started it. ;):)

Also, can I assume the AC used was for deposit? The free ones II throws at you don't even have Orlando on the grid for Feb.

Too funny. Can't beleive I forgot this as I am usually good at remembering things like this. So it has happened before. As for our current booking, we still don't have a confirmation. I don't know for sure what the AC was for, but it is possible it was for giving them a deposit last year. My wife is the one that booked it and checked a few different ACs and had to use a later expiring one as the others couldn't see it.
