I have been reading a bit about an RCI rule - 4 in 1. I THINK it means you can't stay more than 4 times at the same resort. Does II have a similar rule?

1 in 4 rule

The rule you are referring to is the 1 in 4 rule with RCI. You cannot stay more than once at the specific resort in a 4 year period.

There is no similar rule in II to my knowledge.

The only similar rule I'm familiar with might be the few regional blocks I.I. has. In a few vacation area's, I.I. won't allow you to exchange a resort you own into another resort in the same area. When we purchased in Las Vegas we were told that Vegas had such a regional block. It was put in to discourage people from buying less expensive resorts and using them to exchange into more expensive resorts.

I've never attempted to exchange on of our Vegas resorts for another Vegas resort so I've never had the opportunity to test what we were told. I have exchanged the resort we own in Branson for different/better resorts in Branson, so I know that regional blocks don't exist everywhere with I.I.
