According to the II website there is a $10 discount for making an online exchange request. I think this is new. Since a poster on a previous thread on this forum mentioned that II had increased its exchange fee in 2009 by $10 ($139 increased to $149) II seems to be trying to channel users to the web and cut down on its employee cost at the customer service center. Is there any disadvantage to using the web based exchange request system?

Give me online any day of the week. Other than it's frustrating to try to get certain check in dates, at least they don't cancel my exchanges/ongoing searches et cetera, like the live people do.
