Keukenhof Gardens is truly fantastic. we were there a couple of years ago for a Baltic cruise out of Amsterdam. They run buses from Schiphol airport every few minutes during tulip season.

Thanks for ;the post. Seeing this garden in bloom just made my bucket list.

I belong to a Facebook group for my hometown and another for my high school class. We have a couple of people who take fantastic pictures and post them. They know that many of us miss the the flowers and scenic sights of where we grew up. Just this week I commented on one such post that I had only seen the Spring flowers once since moving to Florida in 2011, Before all this happened with COVID-19 we had plans to travel most of April and May. I was so looking forward to indulging myself to my hearts content in visiting gardens, arboretums, etc.

Thanks for sharing. They were amazing photos of a beautiful place. We visited years ago and would love to go again. i also remember driving on roads that went past large fields of tulips in bloom where they were growing bulbs for the next year. There would be rows and rows of all the same color bloom. That was also wonderful to see, and local stands would sell garlands of tulips that you could tie across the hood of your car. You'd see the garlands across the front of tour buses on their way to the gardens too.

Thanks for sharing. Very beautiful. We were planning a trip there for next June, but have already decided to cancel it. It’s still on our bucket list, so hopefully we will go at a later time.

Best regards.

We took a "tulip time" riverboat cruise a few years ago. A stop in Keukenhof Gardens was part of the itinerary. But it's tricky to hit it just right. I did my homework in advance of the trip, and picked a peak week for the cruise. Unfortunately, Europe had a longer, cooler winter that year, so we were in Keukenhof a little before the peak bloom. But it was still beautiful.

Formerly: Marriott, ILX, Westin, Diamond, Worldmark. Timeshare free as of 12/24.
We just happened to be in Amsterdam about ten years ago at tulip time. We took the train to Keukenhof and spent an unplanned day at the garden. The flowers were much more impressive and a happier coincidence than unwittingly being in Munich for five days during Oktoberfest.
