Poor guy! He had a reservation at NY45 for 1/8-10. The flight gets delayed from Denver, checks in NY45 at 2 am on 1/9. He loves the 1 BR deluxe but he liked the 2 BR presidential he had in May better. They keep calling him to attend a presentation. He tells them he's already scheduled to attend one on 1/11. Shouldn't or couldn't they have known? They leave him alone.

Checks out of NY45 on 1/10 to go to TRYP for 1/10-13. Works from TRYP lobby until check-in time. Just picks up the room key offered to him without any questions or conversation. So like a millennial, they are so cool. ;-)
Calls me from the room asking me why the room is so small with a full/queen bed. I tell him I made a reservation for King and he has the email and the printout saying so. I tell him to go down and demand a King room but he's not the demanding type. And that's why they did the 'bait&switch' on him in the first place. Put suckers and the 'cool' guys in the 'undesirable' rooms and keep the King to make more money. After all, I paid only $199 even though the Reservation from TRYP said ~$645. Wyndham must be paying the difference.
They switch him to a King Room on the 8th floor. Nice and big as I had reserved. Apparently, they claimed the system said he had a queen room. The same damn system sent me an email saying I booked a king. I tell him they're just lying to cover up their deceit. I hope he learns his lesson.
