If I add 1 extra person to one of my deeds, will that person have access to all of my points?

100% resale!!
I never added my husband to my membership because I didn't want both our credit scores to be tarnished if I didn't want the membership down the road and couldn't get rid of it. Plus I always say I'm not married when I do an update so he isn't dragged into them. My question is if I change my mind, can I get a new deed and put both our names on it to give him access to all of our points? I don't plan on using 2 accounts. I just want to be able to make 2 reservations at the same time for my parents or sister to be able to vacation with me without having to use up a guest certificate. I will have him and myself each check into a unit. I don't want him added to every deed I have, that's too much work.

I want to get rid of my high maintenance fee deeds. My Smoky Mountains is a $5.38 per thousand and Royal Garden is at $5.21 per thousand. Everything else is Grand Desert. I was thinking of replacing those higher deeds with Bali Hai or Canterbury and adding him to the deed. If I do that, will he be able to use my Grand Desert points as well without me being present?

The answers to all your questions are yes. Adding him to one deed will give him access to all your points even if you have multiple contracts. I have several resale that are only under my name and one that is under both my husband and mom’s name. They have access to everything. I did it, so that if something happened to me, they wouldn’t be in the hook for those, but in the off chance they would be, I choose desirable contracts that would be easy for them to unload through Ovation or private sale. They would have to maintain the maintenance fees on all of them or they wouldn’t be able to use the one they are on. If they cannot for some reason, Ovation will gladly take back Clearwater, Canterbury, Bali Hai, and Margaritaville.

The best time to add him is when you buy a new resale. Have the broker add his name to the new deed. That will get him added without paying any additional fees outside what you’re paying for the resale.

You can use multiple contracts of a different type together in the Standard booking window which is 10 months from check in. In the ARP window (13 months from check in) you can only combine contracts that are the same. Like two bonnet creek contracts or two CWA contracts.

If you decide to sell your smokies, ask for enough that would cover your maintenance fees for six months. So if your maintenance fees are $50 a month, ask for $300 and the buyer to pay the fees. Otherwise, you could give it back to Wyndham for free and only have to pay maintenance fees for two months. You won’t get money for it, but it will be cheaper for you overall. There are conspiracy theories that Wyndham purposely drags out the private person to person process to get people to use Ovation. That’s not entirely implausible, but the problem with that theory, is so few people know about Ovation. Their go to answer is to try and find someone to take it. Wyndham doesn’t do a good job of advertising Ovation. If they did, more people would use it because it would be easier.

Thank you for the response. I will add him if I do end up swapping my deeds around. I personally don't understand why Clearwater holds value. Maybe it's because I live her, but the point cost for those rooms are insane! I wish they had built studios like PCB has.
