After vetting out three resale brokers for over a week, this week I settled on one. After making the decision and announcing it to all three, no sooner did I make my decision than I got a call from one that I did NOT choose who had already found me a buyer on of my two EOY's at Ko Olina. I plan to list my other week with her soon.

Her name is Alanna Hatz at Premier Timeshare Resale out of Utah. I was very impressed with her and thought I would pass along the information. She has been very responsive and helpful. The paperwork has already been signed by both parties on the sale.

shouldn't this be in the buying, exchanging forum?

I think a more important question is: how much did the broker get the weeks to sell for? Ko Olina EOY currently has an E-bay resale value of around $4K for Mountain View. Unless she was able to find a buyer at around $5K (before her take) you might have done better listing it on E-bay. If it was much higher than $5K, then congrats. She sounds like a good broker.

I contacted her about a year ago to see if she would handle my purchase of a Ko Olina week from a fellow TUGger. I found her fees to be far too high, but I'm glad you had a good experience.

She sold it for $5,000. We were happy since we were clueless as to how to do it ourselves. If we can get that for the odd year that she has listed, we will be equally as happy. :)

I agree. IMO getting an unwanted Week sold is priority one; avoiding future MFs is priority number two; and the selling price is priority three.

I just thought I would post an update. Last night Alanna called me and she has a buyer for our odd week already (same price as the even week). I have to say, she is a real go getter. I am very pleased with her. :)
