You should never have someone bidding against you, just go to esnipe (or some other similar site) and enter in your max bid. Within seconds of the auction ending your max bid will be automatically entered. If your max bid is not high enough, then you've saved yourself by not getting caught up in the hype.

Now my secret is out...You wont know if Im bidding against you.

I used esnipe last week..There were six bidders in the last 10 minutes of the auctiom and 30 bids, Esnipe placed mine in the last seconds and I got it for 20%less than I was willing to pay

The key here is that once your max bid is entered into the sniping site, don't keep going back to watch the auction. One's max bid is their max bid and they should be careful not to increase it.

Esnipe

What an amazing business model - I wonder what esnipes annual revenues are? Wish it had been my idea...

I'm not bidding against you (I don't think), but I do have a comment about "downtown Montana" in regards to "ampaholic's" resort profile statement. I used to own at Meadow Lake, and I love the place. However, it is located in the small town of Columbia Falls which is west of Glacier National Park. The town has a very small "downtown" and, ironically, Meadow Lake isn't even located in that part of the community. It's out in the woods near a big lumber plant.

So, what's up with that, Ampaholic? :)
