I returned the timeshare now they’re Saying no

So I bought a blue greens time share in Vegas on may 8 and when they explained it to me they said they don’t count weekends and have 5 days and when I wanted to return it it was the 19 of may they said I still can due to me residing in Cali which is 7 day but the company is in Florida which gives me 10 days and I was working that recession period and I return on the 20 thinking that was it now there calling me saying that they will not honor it that is where I singed and they do count weekend and I ask for the contract they will not give it to me and it’s bin 3 weeks so what state do they fallow and how do I get my contract back thank you

If you bought the timeshare while physically in Las Vegas and the property you purchased is in Las Vegas you are covered under Nevada law. That would make a 5 day rescission period. What did your contract say? Not what someone told you, what did the words in your contract say?

I don’t know they just said I have five days then I had more days but I know the property is not in Las Vegas it’s a point system

As Dioxide notes, it does not matter what they told you. What does the written rescission language in your contract say?

Perhaps you bought one of the point collections (US Collection, Hawaii Collection)? I don't know where those trusts are based or recorded. In those cases, the rescission period would be based on the longest of Nevada and the state the trust is recorded. That said, your contract will stipulate what the rescission period is and is very clear. Thus why you need to read the contract terms and stop relying on what you were told.

Did you pay with a credit card? If so tell your credit card company that you tried to recind and were told you could in the time they allowed. Don’t pay them.
