My other half finally let me cut his hair yesterday.

Whereas hair cut places are open in SC, our haircut person is in NC which just opened. I put off appointments for a few weeks just to see what happens.

Meanwhile his haircut came out professional. I always watched how it was done so I just did it the same way. He still will go to the professionals because he enjoys going.

For me, I learned how to do my roots using the same products used at the salon and have been cutting my bangs. My beautician showed me how in the past to cut them as well as giving me the formula.

Getting a haircut this Thursday. Very thankful. My bangs are crazy long.

DW and I are up for haircuts on Thursday. We use the same, one woman salon. I'm ready to bid the 'senior mullet' goodbye!

The dog has a great fu manchu. Mine. . . .Well, it's sorta business as usual- I do my own anyway. The hair, however seems to be morphing into a 'senior' mullet. White, below shoulder length, with a solar collector on top.
Solar collector! My dear departed dad would have gotten a kick out of that.

When my hair gets a little long, it feels oilier. I have normal hair that is usually soft, but by the end of the day, my hair feels like I could squeeze a tablespoon of oil out of it.

Does anyone have a good video which I can forward to my son on how to cut your own hair using a hair clipper? My son who badly needs a haircut finally agreed to have me order him a hair clipper but he needs a tutorial. Thank you!

Just do a Buzz Cut. It is easy, clean, and lasts. Or one can shave the head.

I get one every two or three days -- Norelco or a razor in the shower.

If you get him one of the 'haircut kit' clipper sets with various length 'combs' that snap over the front of the clipper, go over the top/sides with the longer (deeper?) comb attachment then change to one of the shorter combs. It will be longer if he cuts 'with the grain' and shorter if he goes 'against the grain'. And tell him that no matter what he does, in a couple of weeks, nobody will know. :)

I have long hair and still natural, no dye. A pony-tail still works for me. We are opening salons next week and I'm not calling for an appointment even thought it has been about 4 months. For me, what is another inch.....

Yes I did but it's slim pickings. It has only 6 guide attachments. The ones that I really wanted are out of stock with no ETA. He is getting his delivered between Tuesday and Friday next week because of lack of stock.

These are the times we are in. I hope he can find something that works for him. I'm looking forward to a haircut next Thursday, but if itnhad been much longer I'd have been looking actively for some guy on the street.

Which reminds me, back 'in the day' getting my hair cut in the streets of Saigon by a guy for a buck. And perhaps the best head/neck massage EVER!

I tried online "check-in" for Great Clips and it had a wait of 90 minutes.
I tried to do a walk-in and was told the wait would be 90 minutes.
I decided that I could wait a few more days.
