Several people are angry about II or their timeshare systems. I'm actually quite happy with II. I had deposited a June 2020 Vegas week in July 2019. Most likely that week will go unused. I exchanged the Vegas week for a week in Spain this year. I used e-plus on that exchange for a spring break week next year. I had an II exchange for Westin Nanea for Aug 2020. I had e-plus and got a week for next July before the 60-day flexchange deadline. I still have an opportunity to use that exchange for something nice next year. I have a thanksgiving exchange that I will e-plus out > 60 days before check-in even if I can travel. I think there is plenty of inventory out there so I can pick something up.

Yes, I lost my Spain vacation and Hawaii vacation but it is not II's fault that I cannot travel due to Corona. It's not my fault either that the week I deposited will go unused and they haven't penalized me for depositing a week that will go unused. I did not wait until I was within flexchange to e-plus these vacations. I felt there is no reason to wait that long right now.

I find II's behavior quite rational. People are depositing Marriott weeks within the next 60 days that will go unused. It makes sense to restrict their exchanges to within 59 days of check-in. I don't know if these people realize that these weeks will go unused. If they deposit 61 days, I think they will actually be coming out ahead. Those weeks out there are not worth anything. Why wait to deposit or e-plus your week within 59 days of check-in? If you decide to travel, there is plenty of inventory out there. II even deposited a free AC in my account because they want people to use that inventory.

I do not have any RCI exchanges until next year so I can't comment on RCI, but I will continue to use II with e-plus.

I agree. I too like II. I will need to e plus out of a Maui week by tomorrow to be outside the 60 day window at least we have that option.

I had a screw up with II but it was my own fault for not checking sleeping arrangements even though “sleeps 8” generally means lockout, it wasn’t. Now I have to change rooms after careful back to back to back to back certificates. II wasn’t helpful in changing the room type but that’s life. Again, my own fault. I still like II

In over 20 weeks of reservations, we have used our reserved weeks only 2-3 times, trading the rest. Yes, we like II.

I like II. I just had so many trips this year that were cancelled, and the replacement certificate is not great.

How do those of you who use II, like them (II), with respect to weeks that would be analogous to RCI Last Call, & Bonus Weeks inventory, particularly for last minute travel?

How would you compare the prices & quality of choices of these type weeks in II, as I frequently see pretty good deals for these type of weeks in RCI (particularly in places like Florida & Las Vegas with a lot of timeshares).

Every now & then in DAE also.

II has generally higher quality resorts. But there are a lot of really nice resorts in RCI. Trading is different. You can use a studio in II and get something pretty great occasionally.

My advice is to start some ongoing searches (OGS) now if you haven’t already so they get some age on them. You can always change what you are searching for later.

I am so disappointed that I have given up great trades due to Covid and then I get back these lousy certificates that don't even pull Marriott 2 bedrooms in Orlando for January. January is one of the easiest exchange months for Orlando.

I gave up a Marriott 2 bedroom unit that I had exchanged into Marriott's Ko Olina for July 26. I am so disgusted with II right now. Another throwaway 2 bedroom Marriott for resorts I can pull with my SBP MF of $450 or for Getaway prices even less than that. If that doesn't bother you all, to have an exchange worth 1/3 of your MF cost, then you are a much more positive person than I am. I should have chosen the stupid replacement week with another exchange fee.

The lady on the phone actually said I was lucky to get a Marriott for July on Oahu, that almost never happens. Very rare exchange. Whatever. You are obviously just trying to underplay my trading power of my week to placate me that my replacement certificate won't even pull 2 bedrooms in Orlando. This will never happen to me again. I won't let it happen again.

I like II as well. I have been able to use my ACC as well because family want to tag along so we need extra rooms. And it does help we love to travel to Desert. Now if II would get some San Diego inventory, I could get rid of a couple of II. But I do love my HGVC TS as well.
Not a fan of RCI, I’m not a Disney fan, already own HGVC and my other RCI units don’t have enough trading power. I doubt I will keep trading through them.

There has been availability at the Marriott San Diego Pulse that appeared in II recently. I would love to stay there for the Kaaboo Festival in September(unfortunately it’s pending cancellation or postponement) and I have a reservation there for it Just in case. It's not where I want to stay most of the time when in SD.

I like La Jolla and stay there annually.

We have had nothing but good experiences with Interval with amazing exchanges and upgrades over 12+ years.
We own Marriott & Westin and have always locked-off and deposited Studio + 1BR [never 2BR].
Have always vacationed at 2BR or larger units [30% have been 3BR & few 4BR].
Have always stayed at mostly Marriott or Westin resorts multiple times in Hawaii [Maui, Kauai, Oahu], Caribbean [St Thomas, St. Johns, St. Kitts, Aruba], Europe [Spain, France], Asia and US.
In Mexico have stayed in 3BR/4BR units at Grande Luxxe PDC & PVR. In Cabo stayed twice in 3BR at Las Residencias & 3BR at Grand Solmar Lands End.
All of the above [and many others] have been thanks to II.
