I just received my 2009 "Marriott" version of the I.I. resort directory. On page two, where it lists some of the Marriott resorts, the Hawaii - Oahu Ko Olina location has a "Horizons" logo next to it and not a "Marriott Vacation Club" logo like all the others on that page. Is this a typo? If not, when did MKO become Horizons?

What is the difference between Horizons and MVCI?

Thanks

I just checked and yeah, I think it is a typo it appears that the logo's have been switched because Branson Missouri has an MVCI logo listed next to it, in the II book.

I could be wrong here, but I believe the difference is that Horizon's is more geared towards families.

That's a boo boo on printing. If you look down a bit further, you'll see where it should have been put beside Horizons Branson. Instead, Horizons Branson says Marriott Vacation Club.

There are only two Horizons Marriotts and they are in Branson, MO, and Orlando, Fl. They were supposed to be a little cheaper brand more affordable for families for Marriott. They actually are pretty popular with families - both are the top rated timeshares on Trip Advisor for Orlando and Branson. :)
