She said they had a good flight and were upgraded to a beautiful and large 2 bdm. and at 2 am her kids were still jumping around like monkeys. (Of course it was only 11:00 PT.) She's at DVC Beach Club Villas.

And to tie this into Starwood - did you know there are Starwood timeshares in Florida, too? :D
 
Upgraded to a 2 bedroom at BCV? I have to hear how she did that.

Um...you suppose she will do an off site tour of SVV? Or maybe stop at SVO HQ and raise some hell!

I know:) , I want to know, too. We own at BCV and would love to know how to get an upgrade. Maybe the tourists just aren't traveling and there are lots of empty villas? She said that the airplane was empty...

She also said that Internet was $10/day, but I thought I was POSITIVE that the Internet access was supposed to be free by now? We will be there next month and I was hoping it would be complimentary by now (well, we do pay our dues...). Of course, maybe I shouldn't get on the Internet anyhow, but it's handy to order groceries or check on lots of things!
 
Denise, internet is free to owners, but not to exchangers. They have some literature in the units that explains it. We aren't owners, so we had to pay. You would think the $95 premium we pay would cover internet, too. I will still go, no matter what they do, but that free internet seems only logical, if Disney owners get to use it without an additional cost.

Only on for a quick hello. Yes, the internet was free in the end but I had to specifically ask for it at the front desk because they put the $10 charge on my bill already last night. I guess it IS free to members (which we are).

Anyway, the weather is great and we are having a blast! Our suite is HUGE (2BR) and the views are fantastic. Cannot wait for the fireworks.

And NOOOOO, we are not doing a Starwood sales presentation :zzz: . But I AM going to go over to SVR tomorrow and look at the models for the refurbishments planned at Falls and the other units. I'll let you all know... I am gonna wear my nodge disguise just in case I meet resistance. :cool: .
