I have a brother who wass coming to visit from the North.

So, I exchanged into two [timeshares.]

He may not be able to come now (in four weeks).

Are there any options with Interval International (I didn't get insurance nor eplus).

I doubt it...so what would YOU do....if you didn't want to use either week?

Thanks

Your options are to do a retrade for another exchange fee (it would be flexchange) or get a replacement week good for 1 year (it would also be in flexchange and have another exchange fee). The other option would be to find another friend or family member who could use it and change the guest cert into their name.

You can call Interval and tell them you can’t use the exchanges. They might put a replacement week back into your account, but it will cost you another exchange fee when you trade it. Kind of like retrade only you make the exchange whenever you like and also run searches with those weeks.
I prefer to send Interval emails, as I believe they have their upper level agents answering those. I hate calling Interval because quite often the agent doesn’t know what the heck they are talking about, but insist they are right. It took me 7 phone calls and 2 weeks to try to figure out something with Interval in Dec. finally an agent did exactly what I wanted the first agent on the first call to do. Rip my hair out!!

I was told they would issue me (something) that I would have a year to exchange....but within a 59-day window, add exchange fee.

As I look, that's what tcshwa2 said above.............

I either gave it to family or ask for a replacement week. Yes, I had the limited window but it’s always worked out,
