New threads keep popping up. Old threads have 20 pages. I get anxious just trying to figure out where to post my comment.

So here’s my own thread (I’ll gladly share) ....

Found out that Hoopla now has the latest Maisie Dobbs video book.

I haven’t gained any weight. Learned many new recipes. Never thought I’d be cooking so many healthy dishes with my DD in such high approval.

Haven’t been home since February so, in effect, I’m on vacation. Packed for a 9 week trip. Wearing the same 4 outfits over and over. Other clothes are in the car.

Started the new free sleep class offered by Mark Hyman.

Have joined many others in a new normal of online shopping.

I have saved sooooo many tires by picking up nails while walking.

Really want a new garden hose......this week.

Really want a package of yeast.

It's hard. There are soooo many threads that are virus rrelated and so few that are timeshare related, and virtually none that are system-specific it will take time to settle into more easily defined niche's.

You're doing fine.

When I saw your header, I wondered if there was some new 'Social Network' that we are supposed to adopt. Facebook's out, use Twitrter. Nope, Instagram is where all your friends are. Call on Skype, uh-uh, I can't do Skype, gotta use something else. I just thought it was just me being stuck in the last century. Or maybe the one before that.

When in doubt, do what I do: Start a new thread.

So many of the older threads have gone off on tangents, where two or three people have hijacked it into their own conversation, which is often far away from the original topic. By the time you post your reply to an earlier upthread post, it gets buried in the side conversations. That's usually when I'll start a new thread. If the Mods feel it's too similar to another thread, they may combine them. I posted a new thread about home projects during the quarantine, and it turned out another Tugger had posted a very similar thread just a few minutes before mine. So they got merged. I'm fine with that. It's all about engaging the readers into posting their comments. That's kind of why we're all here right now. :D

Hi @Quilter I look at it this way. If there are so many threads and comments that it is hard to keep up, then that is a good thing. It means people are engaged, even if timesharing is not top of mind now. Just read what interests you and you don't need to read it all.

I missed the back story...where are you living for now and why only 4 outfits?

I can send you some yeast if you want to pm your address.

I spent a busy 3 days away from TUG and then when I came back I get overwhelmed by how many new threads and posts. As always, I just pick and choose whichever that sounds like would interest me. I think I am going to start another thread, LOL, on hydroponics which is my most current interest. :)

We’re in Fayetteville NC with DD. Her husband was deployed right after the New Year. She called New Years Eve. I was here next day. She and baby were sick. We started on vitamins and good eating . Got her a treadmill in the garage to help with stress. She’s really in good shape now.

After 3 weeks we went back home and friends and MIL joined her. Covid was just ramping up. We came back for another 3 and headed to FL. More friends and MIL came back. We came back at end of March.

SIL has missed a lot. Baby has gone from 4-1/2 mos to 8-1/2. Cut teeth. Started eating solid food. Crawling and pulling himself to standing. Blowing raspberries.

I’m living out of my suitcase. How many clothes do you need for SIP? Washer goes about EOD. Sometimes I smell like Tide, sometimes Dreft.

Yeah, once a thread gets to 3 or 4 pages, I stop reading it. There is certainly nothing new in it.

You can be gone one day and be lost. The threads as I call it are many times hijacked and they no way resemble their title. A few of us keep trying to post new threads that are more pleasant.

Glad you posted one too. You seem to have been busy and doing well.

A Summary of Threads:
There's this new virus going around that's some serious sh*t, even killed people.
Some say it's overblown, but it created a lot of travel issues and disrupted plans.
Businesses are closed, the economy is in tatters, yet we still plan to go places.

Now, you're up to date..

I see you found some on Amazon, but was going to post that you can buy it in bulk at Starwest Botanicals online. I don't bake, so I can't speak to it, but I've been buying herbs from them for many years and am very happy with their products.

Another possibility for flour, yeast, beans, and other pantry staples: several hotels/restaurants in our town are repackaging dry goods they get from commercial suppliers (who have plenty of stock) and selling it via curbside contactless pickup. Good quality, very convenient, and at fair prices.
