I blew my 14 day isolation big time

I returned to Wisconsin May 23 and tried to isolate at home for 14 days. I tried to ignore the pain, but went to doctor and had very severe case of diverticulitis and ended up in hospital for two days. Drove myself home exhausted to a a horrific mess At home.
I am on a clear liquid diet for five days
I have to see doctor every three days for ten days and then surgeon. The cat scan managed to find a lot of other things wrong with me too.

i found out to carry a spare mask, as I wore mine for all the testing And when I got into the hospital room, they had me remove it and everyone wore masks. But I had to put that same one back on to go to pharmacy and get to my car.

Glad you seem to be okay. But a reason why interstate travel should be limited. Not easy to fulfill 14 days isolated as things happen.

Sorry to hear that. I have had a couple bouts with diverticulitis. Lucky for me, I never had to be admitted, but man, it does take a long time to completely get over the infection.

I got new tires today. Every single employee and every single customer was wearing a mask. They have you pull your car into (and out of) the bays so the workers are only touching the tires. We are taking it seriously here.

Had a rude awakening at seven am todau. our house is surrounded by woods and so are most of houses in neighborhood. We own lot next to us and it runs behind three other homes, who have some lawn but not in the back, neighbor in his thirties lucked out got a million dollar house for 325. He texts me to come clean up because a tree fell in his yard. He sent a picture, a smallspindly tree was down on a wooded area in the back of his property. It was a mess before the tree fell. I can’t imagine a guy who wouldn’t at least personally ask his neighbors over 75 to clean it up. I explained it was his insurance responsibility. A year ago, my husband would have been there with his hand saw and been happy to do so. I guess it is time to have the lot staked out and sell it. All of a sudden, their privacy will be invaded.
