I am interested in buying into piñon pointe and saw a new resell listing today. Is $15k plus transfer costs reasonable for a 2-bdrm EY week-52 at HYN? Does Unit 1422 have a Mountain View? How much would it cost to buy a comparable from developer?

It shows sold already, but I can't really envision someone paying 15k for a wk 52 at HYN PP. Something fishy there.

Weeks aren't sold by the 'developer' any more. Points only.

If you want PP, $7-8k max for a high value week.

I checked again and it was indeed marked sold already. It was listed this morning. Oh well, figured I wouldn’t pay that much anyway.

I have been looking for a diamond week and it seems prices are higher for those at Pinion. They only have a handful of Diamond weeks at that property. If thats the week that works for you and you plan to use it, try to negotiate a little. Maybe get seller to include closing costs. I have been told those Diamond weeks at Pinon go for a premium due to scarcity and low maintenance fees. And the resale market for premium Hyatt weeks is strong. Very little availability .

We closed on a Hyatt Piñon Pointe last month.
However, it was a Platinum 2BR-EY Week-40 [2000-Points] for $5500.
