Hyatts in Sedona and San Antonio

We got the first few invites in the mail. Seems like if you are in the hotel reward points program you receive these. But the dates weren't good for the kids. So I went to the Hyatt Club vacation internet site and filled out the on-line form. A couple days later, I got a call. I could have gone to either Sedona or San Antonio. It is not inexpensive. I think we got 4 nights over a weekend (extra charge for weekend plus extra charge for an extra night) and then an upgrade to a 2 BD (which we wanted b/c our relatives live an hour away) the grand total was around $1K. But since we have paid that before to stay in the hotel and we can drive so travel costs are less, we did it.
If you go, the middle of summer is brutal--heatwise--and the late fall/spring break time is too cold (for us other Texans) to swim in unheated pools. Early June is our favorite time.

Sedona may be up and running in 2 months.
I called the resort because we are looking at Sedona for 2007 and I was told that construction should be completed in a month or two.
