Hyatt Sierra- Perfect for the Summer

Vacationing this week at Hyatt Sierra in Incline
Incline is a charming town--
This place is perfect for the summer-
78 degree weather
units are terrific
Terrific landscaping that keeps improving every year. more trees planted - more privacy-
Bridges- man made creek parallelled by a creek.
Relaxing pool (maybe a little small) but with access to the Hyatt Hotel pool
Private Beach- with a bar at pier 111- you can sit at the bar stools in the pair and enjoy the blue- if you choose to stay at the beach Hyatt employees immediately get you lounge chairs and umbrellas- Mojitos are great.
Lets not forget the high end Casino and of course the restaurants at the Hyatt Hotel- food is terrific.

Hyatt service is just terrific- the best of all the timeshares- they are so conscientious my 10 year old commented on how nice they were. makes you feel appreciated.
they even heat the barbeque up for you

Did you have a wine/cheese social this week? Is it full?
 
We are headed to our unit this August - - thanks for your tantalizing report! I can't wait. :cool: Glad you are loving it.

A question about the Hyatt casino (which we didn't try last visit) -- how "high end" is it? We're not gamblers, but my mother (in her 70s) is coming with us and loves playing slots and poker machines. Are there quarter or 50 cent slots to be had there or is everything $1 and up? I think she likes to max her play time, so nickel slots would be good! :p

As you probably are aware most casinos in tahoe as a whole, are pretty standard- smoky-not very well kept.

HYATT- on the other hand is about as clean as it can get- of course being a non-smoker , I wish it was a non smoking casino- last night, I was there and many of the patrons who play are guests at the HYATT- most others will frequent the other casinos in Tahoe- so you can jump from one to the next probably higher jackpots as well. the Hyatt is sort of isolated. You do have locals who frequent the Hotel. But on the overall, probably the perfect place for your mom. They have all the slots and poker machines you want.
I won 275.00 last night. ...... Nice-hopefully, everytime I stay in Lucky High Sierra, I make money.
 
I want to book some nights there for next summer but I won't get my account set up for at least another month! Can someone check for me to see if there is any long weekend available from mid to late July to early Aug (before Aug 10th)? I would like to add at least a Friday or Monday to the weekend there.

Hyatt TAHOE OWNERS URGENT

Hyatt Tahoe Owners and other Hyatt owners in Tahoe,

Im so glad that many of you have enjoyed the Hyatt Tahoe vacation club. Im not sure if you know that there is a very big HOA Board election coming up very soon and a friend of mine Steve Dallas is running for the HOA BOARD.

If you get a chance PLEASE go to KAl's website and look under the title "HVC Resorts" then look at Hyatt High Sierra Lodge and you will see my friend Steve Dallas and that KAL is in support of Steve Dallas also.

Lets keep Hyatt Tahoe for many years to come for all Hyatt owers and guest to enjoy.

Hi Lisa,

Since the earliest anyone will "give up" their week is at 12 months out, we can't see anything for late July or early August yet. I have heard that most weeks will match at 6 months out. Summer is high season so just get on a number of waitlists when you are the owner of record.

You will love Hyatt customer service. I was just on the phone with an agent to expand my waitlist choices for Carmel next summer. So many choices, so few points....

You are correct so many choices and wait just a few more years you will have even more choices.

You need to get some more points more fun choices.

Lucked into open reservation....

I was just cruising the Hyatt Owners site this morning and landed the following 4 day midweek reservation for Tahoe next month!!

We enjoy the flexibility and value of the 4 day midweek stay... Hyatt Rocks!

You guys with all the points are just killing me here!!!! I want to go for a few nights in August, but I didn't have enough points. :bawl:

Well, we'll check out the Grand Pacific Marbrisa in a couple of weeks. Having Hyatt on my brain will prevent me from taking a timeshare tour down there, though I would love to see the models....:rolleyes:
