Hyatt Hylands Inn Carmel Internet

Has anyone been to the Hyatt Hylands Inn Carmel recently? I know this article is about the hotel portion but was not sure if the timeshare portion was also experiencing the same issues with internet connectivity.

A little over two years ago I was in unit 217 at the edge of the property, and the internet speed was fast enough to not be noticeable while surfing TUG. Who knows what the issue may have been for the author. I’ll be there in August and see if I have any problems with the WiFi.

We stayed in the timeshare side over Christmas in 2019 and did not notice any issues. We bring our Roku on TS stays and it worked just fine without any buffering that I recall. Most TS we have been tend to have a router somewhere in the unit which may be why it has not been an issue on that side.

We were there in a 1 bedroom unit for a week in March this year. Internet was fine.

Just following up on this. I’m here now and am getting 9.5Mbps down and 9 up.

Just for fun, I did a speed test using my iPhone. 77.9Mbps down and 28.2 up.
