We are getting married at the Highlands Inn at the end of this month. The night prior, we wanted to have an informal beach party, complete with mini bonfire. We've found a service to arrange the pit, get the fire started, complete with smores supplies, etc....nominal fee thats worth no headache on our part. So, we just need to show up with some food (probably picked up from 5th avenue deli by this same service), alcohol and beach blankets. Alcohol isnt a problem as thats easy to get and transport.

The problem is the beach blankets and getting some coolers with ice for the beer...and a table to put the food/drinks on. Is this something that the concierge would be able to assist with? Sure, we could rent these, but thats such a waste of money. However, I have no idea who we could contact at the resort for assistance. Any thoughts?

Personally being from Carmel I would contact the Hyatt they have many contacts and they might even let you barrow a table.

Where are you having your beach fire Carmel Beach? If so do not make a huge fire because the police will make you put it out all fire must be out by 10pm. Please take all your garbage to the street please do not leave it on ther beach you would believe but the city spends over 25k ever year on beach clean up

Have a great time and the weather is great here in Carmel right now.

:cheer: Dont forget all you Hyatt Tahoe owners VOTE today for Steve DALLAS for the HOA Board only 2 days left election is the 4th of September.:cheer:

it will be at carmel beach. the people that are doing the fire know the size restrictions very well, so i think we are safe there. with kids in tow, we will definitely be done way before 10pm!

i'll find out the contact of the concierge...maybe they can assist. thanks.
