Hubble online?

Anyone know the status of bringing the Hubble back online? Last I saw on Friday was that when attempting to bring the backup channel up, other pieces of equipment failed and Hubble went into safe mode.

Whoa! Those Images Are Amazing.

Those are such astounding sights that it's difficult to comprehend that the things shown in those pictures really are out there in the realm of interstallar nature -- rather than fantastic made-up imagery created in the imaginations of the Hollywood special effects wizards.

Nature is not only stranger than we know, it's stranger than we can know. (Not an original observation, but true nonetheless.)

WOW!!!

Thank you so much Steve for sharing those with us. Truly amazing what is out there beyond our little planet and little lives.

Images like those can't help but humble you a bit. Neato.

I just love this pic of Saturn. It''s both simple and subtle.
