We are owners at The Ridge Tahoe(Cascades 2 Bedrooms). As we all know Palm Desert gets hot in the summer so we had two weeks at Palm Desert and we used them for two weeks to piggyback our owner week at the Ridge starting the Friday before Memorial Day 2016 .
What I did was I went onto the Interval Website to find consecutive weeks and then called up Member Services at The Ridge and got us a week with Friday Cehckin and was able to keep us in the same unit for all three weeks. As we enjoyed our unit on the 6th floor we were able to lock it in unless there is some maintenance issues that would make us move to another room nearby.
We love the 6th floor as its close to the Knoll Pool , Clubhouse, rooftop Jacuzzis , Sauna and BBQs and there is a bridge that takes you to the Resort Cetner.
Why we love the Ridge is its only a 3.5 hour drive from our house. This last time we made it in 4 hours with a stop in Placerville. There is a complimentary shuttle that takes you down to the casino area and lots to do at The Ridge.
Everyone is so friendly and having three weeks to enjoy Tahoe is pure bliss. I never get bored down in Tahoe or up at The Ridge.
So this goes to show you how you can piggyback off your owner week. We love the Cascade building and hope to use Bonus time as well.
Timesharing does work its just that you have to learn how to maximize your ownership and time.
